Compensation
Students will be paid minimum wage and limited to no more than 19 hours per week. Students MUST document hours as outlined in the Student Worker Handbook in accordance to hours worked, days worked, breaks etc.
Job Description
- Inventory Tools in OH Tool Shed.
- Maintain tool inventory and service all hand and power tools.
- Setup tools for horticulture laboratories.
- Coordinate the repair and service of lawnmowers, edging equipment, rototillers, etc.
- Maintain OH Tool Shed.
- Maintain Horticulture Equipment as directed by instructor.
Evaluation Procedure
Student unit managers will be evaluated on a monthly basis or as needed by the agriculture staff unit manager. Poor ratings of work performance may be grounds for the dismissal of the student worker.
